The bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, remains the largest domestic terror attack in US History. 168 innocent people were killed, hundred more were injured, and thousands of people have been changes forever by what happened here. The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum stand today as a living monument dedicated to remembering and educating visitors about the event's impact and the senselessness of violence. The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was built and is owned and operated by a private 501(c)3 foundation and receives no annual operating funding from the City, State or Federal Governments. It is recognized as a National Park and an affiliate of the National Park Service and on the National Register of Historic Places.
